Franchises vs Network Marketing
Traditional Home Based Business vs Direct Sales, the choice is clear!

On a recent internet search for “home based business ideas” and “home based business opportunities” I ran across several articles by national magazines properly titled “Top home based business ideas”.

While these articles by national media publishers such as Entrepreneur and All Business and many others, are at best good for making you look at your interests, such as if you are into fitness, then consider becoming a “personal trainer” or if you enjoy Yoga, then consider becoming a Yoga instructor.

The problem with this idea is that 1. You many not have the proper certifications to become a personal trainer or Yoga instructor. 2. Start up costs for ANY traditional small or home based business can be very expensive. 3. These types of home based businesses sometimes require licensing and insure proper municipality ordnances are adhered to.

Other home based business ideas that are proposed for home based business ideas are: If you enjoy cleaning, then consider a carpet cleaning franchise or a similar Merry Maids type of cleaning franchise.

The problem with a franchise is that start up costs can run into the tens of thousands of dollars with franchise fees, training, support, equipment, etc.

What’s the option for home based business ideas? Consider network marketing or direct sales home based business. The benefits of these types of home based business ideas are that they are extremely cheap to get started in, usually under $500.00 and offer complete support and training generally for free.

Other benefits of starting a network marketing or direct sales home based business is that you can usually work part time while you learn the business, establish a client base for your products while you build your business, and reap the rewards of building a business organization helping others succeed while building a lifetime of residual income.

Try to build an organization with a franchise that could be taken away from you by the franchisor, sometimes without provocation, or build a franchise or similar home based business that will provide you with a lifetime of residual income that you do not have to work at to maintain, usually is on autopilot after you build a successful network marketing business.

What’s best about many “new model” network marketing and direct sales organizations are they do not require you to stock inventory, require no special skills, requires no employees, low overhead, no payroll or accounting or legal skills required.

The network marketing home based business opportunity that I am involved in is Fortune Hi Tech Marketing, a simple network marketing opportunity that offers services and products surrounded by dozens of different products and services, such as just travel or just nutrition, or just phone services.

The cost to start a Fortune Hi tech Marketing home based business is just $299.00 to get started, and an additional $60-$100 to acquire necessary start up website and customer gathering points.

Fortune hi Tech Marketing requires no additional fees, requires no inventory, no billing, no handling of cash or transactions, no employees, no payroll, etc.

I dare you to compare the ease and low cost benefit of starting a home based business with Fortune Hi Tech Marketing as opposed the list of 25 home based business ideas below published by the national media publications.
